The UNDP office has consistently aimed to integrate intersectionality, multidisciplinarity, and the cross-cutting nature of the priority themes in its mandate. To achieve this, UNDP collaborates with its partners in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating technical cooperation projects within its extensive portfolio. Additionally, it provides support services for the development of planned activities. To facilitate these efforts, the organization needed to understand how to organize its portfolio effectively and develop a new visual system for creating collaboration canvases, presentations, and digital platform communications.

Intersecting
Strategy with
Design

The primary objectives include organizing the brand architecture in a straightforward and easily understandable manner to facilitate decision-making and product positioning. Another goal was to enhance consistency and develop a comprehensive visual identity to disseminate portfolio-based products across the organization and its partners. The flexible system features dynamic shapes within a robust gridded visual framework. These variations act as a visual metaphor, indicating that the brand is dynamic and evolving, capable of being tailored to resonate with specific locations and users.
